Max with Dinosaurs

Yesterday we went to the Tyrrell Museum which has one of the largest working labs in Canada. You can watch the people working on the bones and putting them together. They also have a huge collection of dinosaurs skeletons that were found right in the Drumheller valley.

The Star Mine Suspension Bridge

After the museum we all went to the suspenion bridge which was built in 1930 for coal miners. Alberta government now maintains the bridge and you can walk across - if you dare. Max ran across with no fear at all, of course. The tiny people on the bridge is Max and myself. Jered took this picture from the hill on the other side.

Lake Louise

Lake Louise

We went down to Lake Louise - very lovely section of the range. The water is clear and cold. We had gone there when we were kids - there were alot more people there then I remember. We also went up to the hotel and walked through the lobby and checked out the views.

After Lake Louise we went to Johnson Cayon and walked up to the falls. The water was so clear and beautiful. The lower falls was so loud and you could walk right up to it and feel the water. Wonderful!

Hello from Canada! We are on vacation in the Canadian Rockies. Yesterday we (Jered, Shauna, Damion, and Craig) climbed Mt Barrier. It has an elevation of 6500 ft above sea level. It was a "medium scramble" - aka sort of tough but so worth it. Here's some pictures just to rub it in - enjoy!
